About the GMFTZ
Established in 2010 by the Foreign Trade Zones (Order No. 1733) to serve Western Maricopa County and designated GMFTZ as the Grantee of the Zone.
Mission
To develop, grow, and promote Western Maricopa County and the Greater Maricopa Foreign Trade Zone, Inc. (GMFTZ) to enhance economic development in the West Valley.

Initial steps in pursuing FTZ designation through the GMFTZ:

Contact the GMFTZ for a courtesy evaluation referral.

Contact the local economic development office to assess eligibility.

Obtain letters of concurrence from all taxing entities.
